2009 AIA Chapter Awards Dinner Dance

This years' eight biennial Scholarship Dinner Dance held on May 7, 2009 at Brooklyns' "El Caribe Country Club" was a success. Over $12,000.00 was raised to supplement a very worthy cause. The event was attended by over 150 AIA members and guests. The Dinner Dance was held to benefit architectural students through the "Brooklyn Architects Scholarship Foundation, Inc which awards deserving students with grant money to continue with their studies. This past December, five (5) students were awarded $2,000.00 each for a total distribution of $10,000.00. This year's fund raising event will ensure continued distribution to future architectural students in our City.
